Somehow each of us knows that in this human existence –
that awful evil force of Satan who seeks to destroy God’s life in you and me – the
original sin of Eve and her husband Adam is the transmitted force of so much
unruly human living experiences.
Sometimes, on the other hand of consideration, it is
noted that we ourselves make “unreasonable mistakes.” In fact, evil is
unreasonable thinking or behavior. Because of this erroneous decision(s) we
therefore suffer the consequences with all its wounds ensuing of such behavior.
Identifying in a Spirit’s gift of humility (not psychological nor moral
humiliation) the
cause, we thus find ourselves on the road to healing. Our “ego” can become our
enemy in sickness or our friend in healing.
One of the most tragic sufferings which persons encounter
so very frequently, as I recognize at my services of Divine Mercy and Healing,
is to witness people in a desperate need of search for restoration and a
hopeful, graceful return to normal
living from the disease named cancer.
By this monthly article which is against the evil,
destructive force of cancer, I therefore hope to rally human forces of human
beings from all over the world to join our new Apostolate endeavor in the
healing ministry.
Of recent days, both myself
and one of my coworkers, Mrs. Debbie Carter-Seaman, were sadly reflecting over
all the tear-stained letters of suffering and sacrifice, the many anguishing
phone calls coming in to the office. We were sensitized to a world of broken
lives, suffering souls, a world of broken dreams. How sad it is to witness
hundreds of human persons who, through the hardships of life, are forced to
walk along the streets of sorrow, the many boulevards of broken dreams. Life is
very hard; as Michael J. Fox states, “...life is
like a Bag of Nails.” “...I did not plan
to be sick; but I am grateful for the gift of life. I will use it to the best I
can,” he publicly televised one evening on the Actor’s Studio Television
programming.
So Much Cancer:
Since I was a little boy, I still can remember hearing
about illnesses. I witnessed many times people in desperate need. The blessed profession of medicine, God’s
primary way of healing, was often forced to say, “There is nothing more we can
do – at this moment in our day. We know no more.” How sad this is to hear! Hope, unfortunately, is just about dissolved.
A day does not pass by without both myself
and my compassionate, effective ministry ladies, who are also by ministry
exposure, sensitized by so many sick persons. We hear and see countless human
persons almost desperately demoralized. We try to sustain suffering persons
anguishing in body, spirit, and soul pains and hurts. We observe them stifled –
almost anesthetized, with no apparent hope for a better tomorrow. How sad this
objectively and realistically is!
Our Healing Ministry of Divine Care and Love welcomes most
compassionately and prayerfully the many people attending both our home base
ministry services. They phone our office numbers for oncoming sessions. In so
doing, they hopefully come in and with Great Expectation from God, his holy
Mother, and all of Heaven’s Court. Some struggle to come due to their
illnesses. But by Divine grace, they do somehow muster up some dormant sleeping
strength. They hear the Gospel’s wholesome and truthful exhortation (one of the
Holy Spirit’s
gifts). They hear its meaning about the
positive love of God who cannot give sickness, but a God who can and does bless his people. So many tell about the encouragement, the happiness
they receive in spirit, soul, and body by attending either the main session(s)
at Sturbridge Host Conference Center, or the every other Tuesday Soaking Prayer
Ministry sessions at the attractive, most accommodating, Passionist Fathers
Monastery held at Calvary Retreat Center, which is located in the rural area of
our Worcester Diocese in Shrewsbury.

I am inviting people from all over the
world to contact us and to join with us in the powerful force of supplication prayer. It is the Supplication
Prayer of Intercessory Form (prayer for others), although the other
Supplication Form of Prayer is called Petition Prayer (for our own personal
needs). The latter form of Intercessory
Prayer – praying for others – brings together men,
women, teens, youth, the senior citizens, even little children who see and feel
the suffering people in need of supportive prayer.

J E S U S
JESUS GIVES THE REST – JESUS GIVES THE
BEST:
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give
you rest.”
In these words, I believe, that there are all of us
who at times are so overly troubled – troubled in so many ways which expose us
to ourselves in our weaknesses, in our needs for strength. Many persons are searching
for peace and restoration. They hunger
for authentic spiritual renewal, as well as psychological and corporeal revitalization.
Our dear Blessed Lord, by these above words of Good
News which come from his own Holy Spirit, which palpitates from his very own
Sacred Heart, is welcoming, calling out to you and to me, as if he were simply
saying, “Give me your impossible burdens, your
sicknesses, your lost horizons. I will
carry them, and I will heal you that you may grow better and go to someone else
out there who seems to have lost their purpose to the gift of life.”
How wonderful this union with a Savior is! People
today, more than ever before, are looking for a visible Savior – one whom they
can see, one whom they can touch, one whom they definitely can trust and love.
What is marvelous about this is that Christ Jesus does not place in slavery
people who give themselves to him. He does not imprison them as in some form of
bondage. Our dear Blessed Lord makes himself real to us.
Our Lord is in touch with the hardships, the burdens,
the illnesses of a wounded – not destroyed humanity. Jesus knows how much
burdens and sicknesses hurt. He knows how they have the force to exhaust us.
But he says that he is with us until the end unless we willingly deny him our
love. But even then, he cannot stop loving us. Remember
always that somebody up there loves you.
THE POWER OF SURRENDER:
You are being Called to Care!
One who really cares definitely shows love – the love of God. Such a one never is a Loser!
When we give and surrender all our hearts, our wounds,
our hurts, our bruises – everything to him – our blessed dear Lord Jesus gives
us the serenity and the healings of which we personally are in need. Nobody
loses when they surrender to our Savior, to our Blessed Lord.

C A N C E R
KNOW this Enemy of Cancer:
Cancer in itself and essentially is a
general term for disorders characterized by abnormal growth of cells.
Cancer cells grow into tumors (these are
swollen or enlarged areas).
These have a harmful effect by competing
for the normal cell’s supply of blood and nutrients, and they attempt to
destroy them.
Why they grow uncontrollably is not
completely known nor discovered yet; nor is it known why cancerous tissue
reappears after an initial cure.
It is good to remember that not every
tumor is a cancer, but that every cancer is a tumor.

PSYCHOLOGICAL REINFORCEMENTS
According to Therapies:
There are three recognized effective
treatments for cancer:
(1)
surgical removal of diseased tissue,
radiation, and drug therapy (chemotherapy).
In the past several decades,
many drugs have been developed which are effective in treating the disease.
For many types of cancer,
there is documented evidence that one is far better off with drug therapy (at
the end of this presentation I will describe Dr. Paul Ehrlich – of great
interest).
Anticancer drugs are in
current use, according to my readings in this therapeutic approach to
restoration of good cells hoping that the immune system will be reactivated
over the bad invading cells.
These anticancer drugs which
are in current use are very potent but they possess only a moderate degree of
selectivity and can be toxic according to the medical data recently reviewed.
(2)
the second form of treatment is called by
the medical profession as Pain Relief Therapy. Essentially it states that not
all cancer causes pain, but to persons with pain, analgesics should be
available. Sedatives may be used to help relax the overanxious patients.
(3)
Nutrition is the third type of treatment.
It is stated medically that PATIENTS SUFFER from poor nutrition.
This is for numerous
reasons, including loss of appetite. Many doctors may prescribe what they
diagnose as a vitamin-mineral deficiency and such a supplement is effective.
For severely ill patients, a liquid food product is generally given, in
addition to regular wholesome meals.
There are many other
effective means, especially controlling vomiting episodes. Other wonderful and
effective means is the medical prescribed Laetrile.
All things being what they
may be, that which is being stated here is the power of men and women desirous
of helping their fellow humans to make illness go and to fight with enthusiasm for
the grace of life which God has given.
Finally from a Healing
Ministerial Point of View, we come to Prayer.
The Grace and the Power of
Prayer:
The person for whom we pray
must be willing to give his or her life and cancer to the Lord. The prayer
should focus on getting the immune system back into operation. The reason that
the immune system has ceased to function is because the person has given up
hope. He or she thinks that things are hopeless, that there is nothing to live
for, that the situation is impossible and there is no way out. Having given up
hope and into despair, the person’s body has responded and its immune system
has decided to “do nothing.”
Therefore, the prayer for
healing has to be focused on giving the person a sense of hope in Jesus Christ
and that hope has to be made concrete and real.

I offer them to the audience
as a preventive system of health care.
The best chance of curing
cancer comes when we find it in an early stage and then get treatment.
TRY to MEMORIZE THESE
SIGNALS to CANCER:
1- A
change in bowel or bladder habits
2- A
sore that does not heal
3- Unusual
bleeding or discharge
4- A
thickening of lump in the breast or elsewhere
5- Indigestion
or difficulty in swallowing
6- An
obvious change in a wart or mole
7- A
nagging cough or hoarseness
8- Regular
check-ups are essential to detecting cancer early and receiving successful
treatments
9- If
you detect any of these warning signals seek immediately a competent doctor who
is really interested in people and in helping people – one who knows, respects
and loves the Higher Power in God, who is the initial Creator of life and its Provider. Pray and seek one who knows and practices the
Hippocratic Oath which is to respect and preserve life. Discern, moreover, one who offers like Doctor
Bernie Siegel hope and not destructive death termination, and one who is
efficient in his knowledge and clinical practices.
NOTES on Dr. Paul EHRLICH
A Wonderful
man and doctor who cared.
He was born
in 1854- 1915
Polish born
in Strehlen, Poland
Went to
Became a
German Bacteriologist and Immunologist
Pioneer studies in hematology –
immunology – chemotherapy – etc.
Received the Nobel Prize
Rejected and despised by his colleagues
– envy, jealousy, suspicion.
Dealt with
infectious diseases – cells in hematology – diphtheria – antitoxins.
He worked especially on the fact that
certain substances could function as “the magic bullet” (against syphilis) by
attacking specific bacteria while not harming the rest of the body.
The Magic Bullet, he said, will cure
thousands. The 606 element discovery works. The principle upon which is works
will cure other diseases as well.
There can be no final victory over
diseases of the body unless the diseases of the soul are overcome.
They feed upon themselves, upon each
other – i.e. the diseases of the body, the diseases of the soul.
In days to come, he said, there will be
epidemics of greed, hate, ignorance, violence, etc.
We must fight for life both in
laboratories and in the church pews, church education for the respect for human
life.
LET US PRAY
HEALING PRAYER
Lord Jesus, in your earthly life you
performed many miracles of healing and yet suffered yourself for our
salvation. The mystery of health and
suffering seems a paradox. You indicated in your own words that the paradox is
solved by faith.
Lord, grant us this faith to believe in
the power of Divine and Medical Healing today as in ages gone by. Help us to
recognize your merciful power in the hands of the physician and in the words of
the psychiatrist. Help us especially to see your healing miracle in the
anointing of the sick through your sacramental church and its
consecrated/anointed priests, and also in the charismatic prayers for healing
of body, soul, and spirit.
Help us to believe in the possibility of
supernatural cures, be they physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual in
nature. Help us to believe in your Divine
Dear Blessed Lord, grant us the faith to
see how human suffering can be a participation in your own salvific suffering.
Yes, again help us to realize that the crippled, the blind, the lame, the
mentally deficient, all serve to bring salvation to the world by uniting their
sufferings with your own dear precious shed wounds. Assist us with your grace
to realize that our own sufferings can serve to expiate for sin, and thus
contribute to man’s salvation.
Finally, Lord, reconcile us within
ourselves by granting us the gift of health, and gift us with the gift of peace
with and to the Father’s will in helping us to accept the grace of suffering if
this by God’s will and plan.
I sincerely pray this in faith, dear Lord
