Dear Friends,  My dear People of God,

What a marvelous day Our Blessed Lady of Divine Providence has gifted both to me today and to the ministry of the Apostolate of Divine Mercy and Healing.  Today, in fact, is the 31st anniversary when God’s  love and concern  through an Evangelization and an Holistic Healing Mission empowered me in His Gifts to the sick and to the wounded Body of Christ.   That day is very memorable to me. It actualized itself into local and outreach soul winning effectiveness. That Sunday was May 9, 1976, Mother’s Day. On that day, God gifted me in the Holy Spirit’s Graces to influence people’s lives to know, to love and to serve God, to see Him in the Social Gospel.

God does indeed bless his people! He chooses anyone of us who are willing to make ourselves unselfishly available and unreservedly willing to suffer the labors of  His  Precious Divine Call.  In essence, the focal point of His invitation to serve all His People is to present himself as Lord and Savior. His love is for and to all men and women. He does this for His wandering and suffering people, for those who still walk the way of pilgrims in their journey of  earthly Exodus. He does so, especially with His tender Divine Compassion to the sick, the abused, the wounded, the hurting, and the broken.

What a day, May 9, 1976,  of grace that was for me and for the people whom God had planned for me to surrender all my strength, all my love! In Loving Him first and above all things and persons, I blindly accepted and unreservedly surrendered to all that would happen to me from that moment. I would only have to trust as I always had in my lifetime His Plan in His mystery of  Love and Divine Mercy to me and to His people – to His Suffering Church.

Moreover, and most essentially, God through His Holy Church would through appropriate, prudent and ecclesiastical discernment establish a human moral certitude regarding an authentic Holy Spirit Gifts in a priestly agent of the church. In so doing. the church with wise  authorization, so as not ever to deceive nor hurt  people, was confident to permit  God’s Divine Mercy and Healing Ministry to not only the faithful of our Catholic denomination, but to all peoples regardless of  races or religion, for all  countries and nations  ( cf. Jesus’ Great Commission  Acts 1: 6-12).  ( cf. my first discerning Superiors: Bishop Bernard J. Flanagan, Bishop Timothy J. Harrington, Bishop George Rueger;  and above all, the personal, meaningful blessings given to me from Pope John Paul II [ 1987 ] ). Such was also confirmed  with my then above mentioned superiors while in their personal visitations with  Pope John Paul II during their “ad limina” visits  ( every Bishop’s required five year assignment accountability visit with the Holy Father).

My personal sessions and association with and to the Holy Father, Pope John Paul, was also very significant to me. It took place four times. The first opportunity was in St. Lucia, West Indies, when I had the opportunity by Archbishop Kelvin Felix who invited me in a ten day preparation of  his people for the oncoming visitation of Pope John Paul II, in 1987, and three times afterwards with Pope John Paul himself, Rome, Italy.

I shall never forget these moments where and when he sincerely expressed  his tender, compassionate, sincere interest and affirmation to me and to the work I was committed. I will never forget his strong command and his advisable commission to serve the church in seriousness and responsibility. His words as he forcefully stuck his finger into my heart area:

Never, Never  compromise the Gospel of Christ., I bless you and your mission to the Church. Thank You! Thank You for serving the Church.”

Today, May 9, 2007, God and His holy Mother answered me and the members of the Apostolate to find a new place for serving the people. It is in the lovely, majestic French architecture church of Notre Dame, Southbridge, Massachusetts, as you can see in the top introductory page in this website notification.

WHY ?

Well, with all respect to our modern world of supposedly  sophisticated development, but due to monetary interests and business concerns, the present new management, and  after our 16 years of serving the public at the Sturbridge Host Conference Center, is requesting an exorbitant monetary financial increase charge for their rental spaces. The financial raise for their large rental hall would be $5,500.00 , and $2,500.00 dollars for the their smaller facilities. This cost would destroy our base operation to the services for the sick and the needy here in our area of the Diocese of Worcester, Massachusetts.

Through prayer and worrisome search, the church officials at Notre Dame Church in Southbridge solved our needs as well as for their own parochial needs. Their gentle and considerate pastor, Reverend Father Leo-Paul J. LeBlanc  along with his efficient  parochial representatives have graciously welcomed the mission of the Apostolate with appropriate rental costs. Our Blessed Mother of Notre Dame has not forgotten her people who have been blessed over these past 31 years in services of  Prayer, Evangelization and Healing through the Apostolate of Divine Mercy and Healing.  God did not forget us. He did not abandon us. He remained faithful to his loyal workers. I believe that God’s plan is to bless His people from His own sanctuaries of church facilities. Our Lady of Notre Dame is guiding us in this new adventure.

This marvelous Notre Dame  locale and Church setting are what so many people for years have been asking us to find and to return to rather than to conduct our services in secular buildings. This church setting is most adequate in space. It’s  capacity is 1400. It is so beautiful in its French architecture, that just looking at it can offer the hope of safety and  the opportunity to receive God’s loving and merciful  healing.

Thank God with us at the Apostolate administration that this gracious God-given opportunity will continue in helping to serve the people with the dignity of a holy Church setting -devoutly, respectfully, attentively.

The locale is very easy to find:

It is, in fact not far distant from the present site of Sturbridge Host Inn and Conference Center. Further down to this notice, you will read in a few days to come when all our service dates will be factualized the easy directions which is Rt. 131 for those traveling from the West ( v.g. from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, etc.). If you are coming to Southbridge from the East as from Boston,  or from Rhode Island,  just come East on Rt. 20, and take a left at Rt.169. Go then South about four miles right to the downtown center of Southbridge. It is closer than going straight to Sturbridge. It is very easy. The Church really is immensely beautiful !

Look below after this article and you can see in the photo  part of the  interior.

We will commence some initial services beginning this September. It will be a helpful means for the people to become acquainted with the new locale. We will also be concluding our contract services with the Sturbridge Conference Center ( to be defined ). Please stay posted with our office staff, Miss Aldona Sarkauskas. ( 508-791-0233 ) for further and more helpful directions.

The following year of 2008 – God so willing – has been booked today at Notre Dame Administration Office in Southbridge pertaining to the oncoming  services for  every other Sunday. PLEASE refer to the oncoming  reprinted schedules to come in a few weeks or month or so. We will need to go to print once more due to this change.

These sessions relocated at Notre Dame, Southbridge, will offer multiple opportunities of consistency and constancy pertaining herein our own diocese of Worcester, Massachusetts.

In conclusion, this day, May 9, 2007, was for us the happy business of the day. I am sure you can imagine this joy in our Apostolate concerns  -- May 9, 2008 ! God once again did not abandon our need and our willingness to continue to love and to serve until the Lord calls us home. When we ( I )  are ( am )  no longer able, God will call us (me).

The time of services will follow the weekly Sunday  Notre Dame parish masses. The sessions for our Healing Apostolate hours there for those listed Sunday sessions will be from 1:00 p.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m.

The programs at the new locale Notre Dame Church will conduct themselves in the following determined  format:

(1)   Holy Sunday Eucharist

(2)   The Evangelization Message of  the Gospel

(3)   The Healing Affirmations / Confirmations  to the Prayer and the Spoken Gospel’s Inspirational Message.

As we conclude in 2007 with Sturbridge associates, we do offer utmost gratitude to all of them who have in the past been most beneficial agents, individual helping persons, and anyone else there serving as their  representatives who in turn have been of gracious assistance. Thank you immensely!

With hopeful new ministry to God and to His needy, wounded people, I bless you and I remain,

                                                                Sincerely yours,

Reverend Father Ralph A. DiOrio +
